It has been a while
Yup it has been a while since my last blog entry hmm. I was away from 7-25 August to Jakarta, me and my mom took a semi religious tour to Bangka, i brought my camcorder, and i took a lot shots and pics, hmm but after i watch how bad my skills on this stuff i feel bad for whoever watch it, yeah my husband got an instant headache watching it, the camera always shaking :) Anyway, the pictures are on my other laptop, lazy at the moment, i will upload sometime later.
There is a lot happening on my trip, a lot alot, till i could not possibly write in this blog, cause it is really a family problem. Typical? i don't think so. But it so hard you know, i couldn't possibly talk bad about A or B openly right? I have realize that enough is enough, i tried not to give a damn thing about my family matters anymore, hey i am married anyway, my own family comes first, and to think for me to go in and solve matters with a cold hand, it is heartless, though i cried behind them. Nobody knows what i am writing about, yeah i also don't know too, it just a metaphor. But one thing i did discover or maybe realize, i can not find any positive traits about my father. I even went to ask my mother, what is so good about my father, so far i got exposed to his negative side, and demanded her to spell out at least one thing good about him, she kept quiet, and unable to answered my question. Sigh... Don't try to console me.
Back to Singapore, again i was busy(actually not)with my commitment in the forum where i am part of the staffs there. I have not continue my fiction yet, and spend the whole time in front laptop or desktop reading manga watching anime. Speaking of which, it looks like the Odex Saga finally end? or is it only my impression.
Hmm i hope my next entry is my fiction update.

I GAVE UP!!!
Firefox getting a lot of updates lately, and after today update, the music plug-in are going rampage again! what is going on!!! somebody............ can help me how to fix this problem, i am really tired!!!
And don't even bother to check the code, well maybe tomorrow... no.. tomorrow going to my brother place to play Empire Earth 2 again.
I have been busy with the forum where i active lately, not that it is important, but sometime commitment are calling >_< (is one of the staffs there) Even my story are on hold, what is going on arghhh.... how come is easy for me to just hack care everything... bad habit, bad girl, bad piggy! (now wait... the last bad are no connection)

Do you think you can drink anything?
Last week when we went to a grocery store, i picked 6 cans anything(1 pack) just for the sake of drinking, excited we went home, and open 2 cans just when they are already cool inside the fridge, alas the first can that i open is a root beer, Kriscell got lime soda(7-up?) i really hate root bear, so i drank his, now... why i got root beer? for all the flavor sigh...
It kind of excited to get to know what flavor we going to get, but for me, i am kinda scared, Kriscell doesn't really fancy soda or such, so i drank all the rest through this week, every time i open it i must pray so that i would not get the root beer :)
Silly, but i don't think i can drink anything :P Hmm maybe i should try whatever?

Competitive strategy or purely suicidal?
A StarHub representative called us today, Jeniffer called us the second time, and tell us the new promotion for CableTV, free 2G iPod Nano for 24 months contract. Well Hubby Kriscell said he will only subscribe if the promotion also throw in free cable point, since we only can watch tv freely at our own room (there will be a big cat fight with my sis in law in the living room if i going to watch the cable there, we practically have different taste on watching tv). She went on said if they give the free cable point they can not throw in the discount anymore.
Now i really like sports channel, i have been pretty sad these 2 years, can not watch my fav F1 season show on tv. But to get Sports channel you must take the basics group, more over in October the subscription will go up, plus all the new GST hike and increased plan recently. Who want to spend extra money for just watching 1 show? i rather download until my heart content from the big I(internet) basically download anything that i see on sight, well maybe just to revenge anyway.
So then Kriscell asked her to call us back the day after tomorrow, we need to time to discuss he said, after he put down the phone, he asked me "what are you doing?" i answered "looking at starhub website, i want to compare and see any other promotion" he went on said "No cable so long if they never give a free extra cable point" there goes my cable :x
Actually if we subscribe, we can register at HubClub and enjoy more further discount, since we already subscribe StarHub Mobile and MaxOnline. But since the CableTv is not really need now, we still opt-out it. Maybe later when our new HDB flat ready we think about it again.
As you know recently SingTel and StarHub are on competitive edge, SingTel by pushing Mio out of date line with the bugs still crawling on the software, and StarHub with the HubStation, now i don't really know much about the HubStation but one thing for sure i know that the HubStation is freaking expensive. S$560 ($599.20 w/7%GST) or $285 ($304.95 w/7% GST) with Digital Cable subscription and that also expensive. And now even Mio TV?
If you come check their site, especially StarHub, the promotion is quite scary, there is this promotion where you subscribe Ultimate plan for S$87 for 30 months contract and get free Compaq laptop, not long time ago, they had some promotion like this too, we took it arghh not we are using the Premium plan, i want that promotion contract because our contract have not finished we cannot upgrade yet :x sometime i really wonder do they make a profit with all this promotion? how scary is business marketing.
My brother had just sign up with SingTel new Mio Generation, to think that he already got this StarHub Express plan from StarHub shared with his tenant, and he is quite happy with it, just to save some dollar for his mobile phone, i was like... what?
Some people thinks that they got the good deals in this recent marketing campaign by the two giant ISP/Telco.
Are you thinking the same?
Or they just wasting their money for something that not really worth.

Now i am really sure, Firefox is the only one for me
Today we went to my brother's place, and after driving around Singapore we decided to have lunch at Novena Square 2, the new extension err... from Novena Velocity, Novena Square? sometimes i really amused on how they named the shopping center.
Anyway we tried the QQrice, my brother said it is quite filling, though after had 1 packet we still eating lunch at Ajisen Ramen.
I promise my self i will not buy QQrice anymore, it is expensive and the contents inside are cheap stuff too lol, basically it is the same concept with Onigiri only bigger, so nothing new to me. I may be fall behind from the trend, don't really follow it. lol
And actually in this entry i want to talk about Firefox and IE. After lunch we decided we want to play Empire Earth II rts pc game, it has been a long time since the three of us play together (My brother, husband and me) So in the mean time configure the connection of our laptop, i went to open this blog, and found in horror that the three wmpplugin that i embedded(1 java script on the header, 2 object id on the posts) to the blog are all playing at the same time. I never knew it since i always use Firefox to for browsering, download, and everything. Today i surf with IE on another laptop, and immediately blame husband because he never noticed that, he always use IE to surf. I can imagine for those who have visited my blog using IE, they will get really annoyed and think that the owner is a moron, to plug in 3 different songs and play it at the same time ha ha.
I have identified what is the problem and have changed the code, and now the only plug in on auto play mode are only the main background music.
There is one thing though, the marquee code tag that i put on the Backlinks are FOLLOWED only run on IE, at first i thought something wrong with my code, and when i saw it bouncing, i noticed maybe Firefox can not support marquee code?

What was on your mind when you put these banners?
What is on the mind of an affiliate when they decor their site or blog or whatever with all
colorful eye killing banner?
All affiliate guru always remind us again and again, you need to put a similar advertisement to your site what about. For example if you have a tech blog the advertisement you put will be about the latest hardware gadgets or something like that
always put similar advertisement to go along.
Well i never followed that, see for your self, all banners on my blog i choose and i just put it because i like the service. What? how lame is that. Well it is true the problem is i always think that the visitor on my blog will think like me.(<- how can you be so confident idiot?) It is wrong, even my husband also asking me, why you put a web hosting advertisement? i replied because it is cheap, i also like to have it, i even think to click my own affiliate banner lol Yeah one of this day, i always dream to become a webmaster or a forum administrator you know... a well known one, where when someone on the internet sphere will say something like, hey do you know this forum, and the other will saying oh i know, the one that *bip and *bip it is so famous, everybody knows that. Yeah something like that. But first i need to change my bad habit by doing one thing at a time and when you start doing something, for Pete sake... finish it!. So until then i think my dream forum will not coming true at any moment. What is with all the magazine subscriber stuff? he said. Well they are cheap, and since i just got this new HSBC supplementary card on my hand, my finger start getting itchy, i need to use it on something, and i think why not... a magazine... i was at the National Geographic site to get a feeder link for my blog and i came across the subscription page where just need $15 for 12 issues!! i know that amount is from US and Canada subscriber, 25% for international order. i think the magazine subscriber site's price will be around like that or maybe cheaper i don't know the other time i only browsed the site briefly only but hey i will subscribe when i got back my trip from Jakarta, i remember when i bought a first edition of National Geographic published in Indonesian Language, it was i think around S$5 or S$6 or even S$7 i cannot remember and all just for 1 issue. There are two banner about essays and freelancer job thing, i guess those two balance the upset? lol hey my blog is about my writing mah, although my 2nd chapter still stuck at pages 7. That remind me to beg you to read my story if you have not read it yet. Finally what with all the craze with the poker advertisement. The story began like this, i was browsering through the list, and i saw a very good commission for online casino like game, so i clicked to register, the pop up window tell me that they will manually registered me or something like that, and i don't care it much until i got their reply on my email box, so i add put the script voila, just for the looks for it. I think my husband played before using the mock money(long time ago), it is a flash game(or maybe a different site), anyway you get bored after some rounds, but if you won it will be a different story. The rest of the advertisement are adSense and Google referrals program and Google Search. This blog is my first blog of course i got excited and stuff my blog with all this things, but eventually maybe i will take down one banner or so. Baidu, YouTube, eMule and Flying Dagger
Suddenly my finger itch clicking the YouTube, to find some clip of Flying Dagger movie from 1994. Inspired by an article from woonder's blog. It was about a song by Jimmy Lin, an old MV of his who last time it looks so cool for us but an embarrassment now to claim that we used to like it lol
Anyway, i went to baidu.com, how i know this site? thanks to youtubing, and i download some songs from them, then i download the ending song of Flying Dagger by Jimmy Lin i believe. And hei! i need to blog this i thought... i wonder how many of you guy know this movie? this movie is one of my favorite! I was like in sec 1 when i watch this on cinema lol.
And i search baidu again if i can grab the dvdrip of this movie, and yeah, i really get it but
the only way to get it by using eMule, i know nuts about eMule don't even know how to navigate around, and all just because i want to watch this movie again, i download and install. I went to www.emule.org, and was shocked because it said that i need to join them and must pay for the service, what the heck? then i read through the google search found, there is another link, www.emule-project.net, and was surprise the page are almost the same only that they don't have join link on the nav bar lol. I really noob with this thing, so i don't know if their program are the same or not the same, but i know, a lot of noob people like me probably got cheated with their money from the first site i went lol.

MioNet love it or hate it
I came to know this service when my brother want to try his new external harddrive 1tb size Western Digital, now i always want to have those cute and nice case design, but the price is just too much for me, i am quite content with the 500g Maxtor that i have. Previously i have 3 100g harddisk crashed(1 hd is full of my fav anime lol) with my own so i really sensitive about it.
Basically it is a MioNet provide you a virtual network place for you. He send me an email contain a link to his so called allocated virtual harddisk. I can upload some stuffs also can download some stuff, i dont even need to register to MioNet, beauty is not?
The pain are, if you have a bad internet connection, and the host computer must always online. But since he using the Western Digital Harddisk. It can be access even though your main computer is off, but i believe still need to be connected to the electric plug.
So to get the best out of MioNet use Western Digital harddisk, like that then you can have your own virtual network drive.
Share all your anime, movie, game, manga and even mp3, as long as you can zip it into different filetype, and un zip it after you have downloaded it,
i guess everything is ok. There you go your own virtual network drive.

Cute Midi untill you sick of hearing it
Found this midi on the net floating, i think everyone who at least play maple global or maplesea before will recognizes which midi we are talking about. Firefox have problem playing the wmp plug in, last night i searched around the net to find out how to do midi streaming. After trial and error(actually no error, i was adjusting the border, and in the end opt out) whenever you save the widget you need to refresh the page and see if the adjustment is fit. So i keep on refresh, and hearing the same midi over and over and over. Though i can change the code for the time being to stop streaming, i thought the midi is cute and i also want to listen in, but... it is all different now.

Response to HSBC Major Screw Up
Hey hey hey, well maybe my response is not connected with HSBC, but this case remind me of an old case, and i think i should share it with others. Below is a comment that i post on SgBoleh under HSBC Major Screw Up post
Sometime, some humans in banking industry did a mistake intentionally or unintentionally, like what my mom experienced got from the so called world bank Citibank :)
The so called fixed time deposit that already sign and given the paper to my mom on February(interest rate fixed for 1 year), some 3 months after that(May) a letter from Citibank, tell my mom that her deposit(6 figures) has been divided by 4 amounts, 1 deposited on april, and 3 amounts deposited on may(note that each ammounts have different interest rate, so my mom entitled an interest s$100 from the 1st amounts, and she snaps, and ask my brother to call the agent who did the initial deposit. If they don't want to change back, she will draw her investment.
Result, they said sorry, and the first original deposit cert are the one in used, i said to my mom, that must confirm again, wait next year the bank said different things then it really funny.
I cannot do anything since, she went to make the deposit with my brother(my brother really doesn't care about this stuff) i actually ask my brother to pestering them, ask what really happen and such, and he said the matter is solved so don't make a big fuss about it. My brother never tell me the excuse that the bank gave to my mom, so i never really know what happen.
My mother status is a foreigner in SG, so you can imagine if she is not in SG at the letter arrived and she never checked until next year, how much money did the bank eat?

Chapter 1. Match Made in Heaven
This is my very first chapter , a lot of grammar mistake, weird action sequence, ugly intro, you name it... everything are there, i hope you didn't have a hard time reading it :)
Please if you already have read the chapter, comment on how ugly it is, if possible add suggestions :) or grammar corrections. I will try my best to write a superb fiction, a story you never read before and will never read again! (<--what the heck?) If you have not read it, please read Match Made in Heaven

What is wrong with MediaCorp TV?
Honour and Passion are the new tv drama show on Channel8, it airing on the 9pm slot, and start airs tomorrow on 24 July. I am sure a lot of you know or at least saw their preview advertisement on tv, I personally very rare watch tv, and the only time i watch tv is only at dinner time, because the tv is on, and the dining table is there, so... automatically i will see whatever show splash in front of my eyes.
But i have been disturb by its preview mainly, because channel8 preview team(or whatever team who responsible)use one of the bleach ost as the background music of the preview. To think channel8 is a commercial tv, and use a track from Bleach ost, doesnt it count as an illegal? I may not know if they buy the rights, or whatever it is, and if they so, then i apologize, and if they dont/have not, i have a right to voice my opinion.
Oh yea, in case some people not aware of Bleach, Bleach is an anime.
This is actually not a first time for me to stumble the same preview(other drama) with anime background music.

The Lost Legend: Requiem from Heaven
I have already think hard what to write for the synopses, and i really don't know what to write?
I think i will just write the intro?
This is my first pathetic attempt to write a fictional story, I hope everybody like it… To read the story, need a very high dose of imagination. I am frustrated with the limited English that I can use, I cannot even create a proper sentence, I am sorry again with my poor English.
Story Synopses:
Enter Luna, a bright young Angel in training, a very cheerful girl... well maybe, and comes from a well respected noble family of House of Gaia. Her life turns to a very dark and dangerous way, after her mother Ceres revealed to her that She was the chosen bride and will be send to Hell's realm in two weeks.
A story about, love, friendship, sacrifice, betrayal, revenge, greed, lies, envy, and hope.
What will Luna do? submit to her parents? or run away through a portal to a realm of freedom called material world?

My First Post
Hi everybody,
This is my first post err.... on my first blog too! I never like blogging, my husband likes it, he everyday confirm must blog, even the lamest stuff. Most of my friends are not bloggers too. Well maybe 1 or 2.
The purpose of this new created blog, is for me to set up a medium for my so called readers (if I ever have) to review or feed back me about the chapters that I already published.
I have just published the first chapter of my very first attempt to write so called e-fiction :)
Just found about Google Pages a few minutes ago, so i go and paste the entire chapter on the page editor and publish it, yep even using the original fonts/color/layout.
