It has been a while

Yup it has been a while since my last blog entry hmm. I was away from 7-25 August to Jakarta, me and my mom took a semi religious tour to Bangka, i brought my camcorder, and i took a lot shots and pics, hmm but after i watch how bad my skills on this stuff i feel bad for whoever watch it, yeah my husband got an instant headache watching it, the camera always shaking :) Anyway, the pictures are on my other laptop, lazy at the moment, i will upload sometime later.

There is a lot happening on my trip, a lot alot, till i could not possibly write in this blog, cause it is really a family problem. Typical? i don't think so. But it so hard you know, i couldn't possibly talk bad about A or B openly right? I have realize that enough is enough, i tried not to give a damn thing about my family matters anymore, hey i am married anyway, my own family comes first, and to think for me to go in and solve matters with a cold hand, it is heartless, though i cried behind them. Nobody knows what i am writing about, yeah i also don't know too, it just a metaphor. But one thing i did discover or maybe realize, i can not find any positive traits about my father. I even went to ask my mother, what is so good about my father, so far i got exposed to his negative side, and demanded her to spell out at least one thing good about him, she kept quiet, and unable to answered my question. Sigh... Don't try to console me.

Back to Singapore, again i was busy(actually not)with my commitment in the forum where i am part of the staffs there. I have not continue my fiction yet, and spend the whole time in front laptop or desktop reading manga watching anime. Speaking of which, it looks like the Odex Saga finally end? or is it only my impression.

Hmm i hope my next entry is my fiction update.

I GAVE UP!!!

Firefox getting a lot of updates lately, and after today update, the music plug-in are going rampage again! what is going on!!! somebody............ can help me how to fix this problem, i am really tired!!!

And don't even bother to check the code, well maybe tomorrow... no.. tomorrow going to my brother place to play Empire Earth 2 again.

I have been busy with the forum where i active lately, not that it is important, but sometime commitment are calling >_< (is one of the staffs there) Even my story are on hold, what is going on arghhh.... how come is easy for me to just hack care everything... bad habit, bad girl, bad piggy! (now wait... the last bad are no connection)

Do you think you can drink anything?

Last week when we went to a grocery store, i picked 6 cans anything(1 pack) just for the sake of drinking, excited we went home, and open 2 cans just when they are already cool inside the fridge, alas the first can that i open is a root beer, Kriscell got lime soda(7-up?) i really hate root bear, so i drank his, now... why i got root beer? for all the flavor sigh...

It kind of excited to get to know what flavor we going to get, but for me, i am kinda scared, Kriscell doesn't really fancy soda or such, so i drank all the rest through this week, every time i open it i must pray so that i would not get the root beer :)

Silly, but i don't think i can drink anything :P Hmm maybe i should try whatever?

Competitive strategy or purely suicidal?

A StarHub representative called us today, Jeniffer called us the second time, and tell us the new promotion for CableTV, free 2G iPod Nano for 24 months contract. Well Hubby Kriscell said he will only subscribe if the promotion also throw in free cable point, since we only can watch tv freely at our own room (there will be a big cat fight with my sis in law in the living room if i going to watch the cable there, we practically have different taste on watching tv). She went on said if they give the free cable point they can not throw in the discount anymore.

Now i really like sports channel, i have been pretty sad these 2 years, can not watch my fav F1 season show on tv. But to get Sports channel you must take the basics group, more over in October the subscription will go up, plus all the new GST hike and increased plan recently. Who want to spend extra money for just watching 1 show? i rather download until my heart content from the big I(internet) basically download anything that i see on sight, well maybe just to revenge anyway.

So then Kriscell asked her to call us back the day after tomorrow, we need to time to discuss he said, after he put down the phone, he asked me "what are you doing?" i answered "looking at starhub website, i want to compare and see any other promotion" he went on said "No cable so long if they never give a free extra cable point" there goes my cable :x

Actually if we subscribe, we can register at HubClub and enjoy more further discount, since we already subscribe StarHub Mobile and MaxOnline. But since the CableTv is not really need now, we still opt-out it. Maybe later when our new HDB flat ready we think about it again.

As you know recently SingTel and StarHub are on competitive edge, SingTel by pushing Mio out of date line with the bugs still crawling on the software, and StarHub with the HubStation, now i don't really know much about the HubStation but one thing for sure i know that the HubStation is freaking expensive. S$560 ($599.20 w/7%GST) or $285 ($304.95 w/7% GST) with Digital Cable subscription and that also expensive. And now even Mio TV?

If you come check their site, especially StarHub, the promotion is quite scary, there is this promotion where you subscribe Ultimate plan for S$87 for 30 months contract and get free Compaq laptop, not long time ago, they had some promotion like this too, we took it arghh not we are using the Premium plan, i want that promotion contract because our contract have not finished we cannot upgrade yet :x sometime i really wonder do they make a profit with all this promotion? how scary is business marketing.

My brother had just sign up with SingTel new Mio Generation, to think that he already got this StarHub Express plan from StarHub shared with his tenant, and he is quite happy with it, just to save some dollar for his mobile phone, i was like... what?

Some people thinks that they got the good deals in this recent marketing campaign by the two giant ISP/Telco.
Are you thinking the same?
Or they just wasting their money for something that not really worth.

Now i am really sure, Firefox is the only one for me

Today we went to my brother's place, and after driving around Singapore we decided to have lunch at Novena Square 2, the new extension err... from Novena Velocity, Novena Square? sometimes i really amused on how they named the shopping center.

Anyway we tried the QQrice, my brother said it is quite filling, though after had 1 packet we still eating lunch at Ajisen Ramen.
I promise my self i will not buy QQrice anymore, it is expensive and the contents inside are cheap stuff too lol, basically it is the same concept with Onigiri only bigger, so nothing new to me. I may be fall behind from the trend, don't really follow it. lol

And actually in this entry i want to talk about Firefox and IE. After lunch we decided we want to play Empire Earth II rts pc game, it has been a long time since the three of us play together (My brother, husband and me) So in the mean time configure the connection of our laptop, i went to open this blog, and found in horror that the three wmpplugin that i embedded(1 java script on the header, 2 object id on the posts) to the blog are all playing at the same time. I never knew it since i always use Firefox to for browsering, download, and everything. Today i surf with IE on another laptop, and immediately blame husband because he never noticed that, he always use IE to surf. I can imagine for those who have visited my blog using IE, they will get really annoyed and think that the owner is a moron, to plug in 3 different songs and play it at the same time ha ha.

I have identified what is the problem and have changed the code, and now the only plug in on auto play mode are only the main background music.

There is one thing though, the marquee code tag that i put on the Backlinks are FOLLOWED only run on IE, at first i thought something wrong with my code, and when i saw it bouncing, i noticed maybe Firefox can not support marquee code?
